About
Grand Ave. isn’t your typical country band. Living in sunny San Luis Obispo, the guys bring a coastal vibe and California charm to the classic country sound. The band has become a local hit around town, performing their original music at local bars and events. Not only are the guys talented songwriters, but also natural entertainers who love to get the crowd going.

Education
Derek and PJ met through their fraternity at Cal Poly SLO, later on they were introduced to the rest of the band through mutual friends.They all quickly hit it off after discovering their passion for music.
Story Behind "Grand Ave"
After a casual day of practicing in the garage, the guys decided that they needed a name for themselves. They settled on Grand Ave. because Cal Poly and Grover Beach (mentioned in their songs) are on Grand Ave in both San Luis Obispo and Pismo. Both places have significance in their lives, so it just made sense.
Pitch
Simply put, Derek and PJ are just two college kids who are passionate about writing and performing music.
